I would recommend this palette to pros and beginners, and especially to those individuals who want serious pigment upon first application and want to head out the door instead of sitting there and adding layer after layer to reach full pigmentation capability. It would look great upon completion, but the Kat Von D blends seamlessly from the get-go. With the Anastasia one, I found that when I blended it into the hollow of my cheeks, I couldnвЂ™t even see it sometimes, and I had to add layer after layer after layer to really build on the product and finally it would look nice. With Kat Von DвЂ™s palette, I could tell that the shades stayed put and didnвЂ™t break up or transfer throughout the day. And throughout the day, I find that I canвЂ™t even see it on my cheeks.

I have the Anastasia Contour Kit (review here) which I do love, but I find that the pigmentation is a bit lacking after using it for so many months.
